This blog is MMO or Make Money Online niche blog, I solely set it to be money machine to me. Having this kind of niche blog, a decisive skill I need to master beside the ability to convince people to purchase anything I offer & writing skills, is SEO.

As our body requires oxygen, a Make Money Online Niche Blog calls for SEO. Because any efforts we do to generate money with a blog, we just can’t get away from SEO or Search Engines Optimization. That’s has been a golden rule.

I define SEO very simple, a technique to drive traffic as huge as I can no matter where I get them & how as long it’s not making people mad, that’s all.

When there is a traffic there is a money, no matter how small the number as long they are potential ones that’s going to be alright.

Experts separated SEO into 2  aspects but I made it 3 aspects which are; On Page Optimization, Off Site Optimization & On Self Optimization (Read on to find out what is it). Familiar with the terms? Sure you are, here is the practices I do to SEO’d my blogs.

On Page Optimization:

This aspect is the first door I need to open before step forward to further level, it’s the internal optimizations which dedicated to improve my blog’s performance at the eyes of Google & other search engines.

It related to Keyword, Title Tag, Meta Tags, Content & blog structure,etc. Here’s my On Page Optimizations I do:

I usually (not always) buy an old domain if my blog has a competitive niche. With an old domain in hand, my job to place my pages on the first Google result page will be a lot easy, because Google loves old!

So if you don’t have an old domain name, then buy it, but if you want to start from scratch with your fresh domain name, it’s oke, time will be on your side eventually.

I create a solid internal link among my posts. Internal link campaign holds an important role too, beside the external, although it has smaller value.

The benefit of having solid internal link is to feeds my posts with link juice, this will benefit his ranking on Google & internally benefit is to make my readers know that my old posts exist, especially if they have been buried deep in archive & can make double indexing to our pages on Google SERP.

Therefore I always link to my other (and older) posts when writing a new post, you can do it manually or automatically, if you are using Wordpress Automatic SEO Links Plugin is created to automatically link to other posts based on word matches in the posts.

As for my non Wordpress blogs, I do it manually & use SEOQuake SEOBar add on for Mozilla Firefox to find which pages of my blog that have good age and pagerank.

With this add-on I will know a complete data of specific page, like its Pagerank, Alexa rank, age and more, thus I can use it to link to my other page.

Nofollow on links that doesn’t need to be indexed, such as affiliate links, may be for some people this one doesn’t matter, but for me it does. For example:

Off Page Optimization:

It’s the optimization I do outside my blog, such as searching for links from other blogs to link back to my blog or its sub pages. here’s what I do for off page optimizations:

I submit all my posts to Social Bookmarking sites (usually have 3 or 5 SB link to every post of mine) to strengthen their ranks on Google.

I created mini sites to back up my main blogs, this one another efforts to rank them well in Google.

Name my profiles based on my domain names or keyword in Hubpages, Squidoo, Zimbio, Google profile, linkedin profile, social bookmarks…etc

Join forums that have the same niche with my blog niche and put my links in Signature are.
