I just opened my Gmail to check what is in my inbox this time, well something interesting was there. There was a confirmation email that notified me I have sent a payment to Godaddy.com.

I thought it’s an automatic payment Godaddy usually takes for Domain renewal. Coincidentally there is one of my domains that will expire in this week.

But then I remembered that the domain will be expired in the next 3 days not today. I said to myself: how come Godaddy charges it now?!!

Then I clicked on it and found this message:

I was surprised when my browser displayed the entire page, I thought it would be from Godaddy, but it claims from Paypal? What Paypal has something to do with Godaddy renewal payment when the sender not of their email address, like this?

I immediately smelled something not right, as the Paypal email address written there is not the same as the official and original one.

It should look like this:

Service@intl.paypal.com

Not this one:

Notification@paypal-us.intl.com

It raises suspicious & the last line which recommends me to Click here to cancel this transaction is an additional clear proof to assume this Email is fake & it’s nothing but Paypal phishing schemes.

Actually it’s easy to recognize this kind of vicious and fake Paypal email without needing to open it, if the Email claims from Paypal, but does not look exactly like this

Then do NOT click any link inside the email, but if you’re really curious to prove its legacy, you better type the Paypal url address on your browser address bar & don’t click anything!

And the fake email that was trying to fool me was like this:

But I must say this one is the smoothest one and more convincing than any other fake Paypal emails I’ve seen. Thus, it’s a notification if you meet this email don’t click any link within it & back away!

Finally I have finished customizing thesis into the look I wanted, the look you see now does exactly blend with my personality:

Simple and straightforward but calm.

But I didn’t expect playing with Thesis required an extensive coding knowledge, I thought it was just click this & that as it’s hyped, but the reality was extremely different.

Yes it’s click this & that if you’re using the default appearance then stay with it and don’t want to do something out the default look has provided.

And of course not activate Custom Stylesheet menu.

Since I want to have a unique look, I decided to activate the menu & want to add this & remove that!

The decision I made had dragged me to dive into the sea of freakish codes, the codes are named Hook, honestly never heard of it before.

These hooks is the key if I want to add something or to remove the existence menu/features or move something from its place to another chosen place, not only that, the next phase is I got to know the serial of each hook in order to do that.

For example the serial hook code like this hook_before_header is the area to place something above header or remove anything before it, afterward, the last phase is I got to add a specific CSS Code to control its look.

At the very last I still need to put extra efforts as I usually do with free themes. There are processes in Thesis. But fortunately Thesis theme is backed up by both official and unofficial hackers.

From their Thesis hacking tutorials I gradually understand the hierarchical structure and mechanism of Thesis and was able to play with it easier, as the result I got to spent a 1 whole day to search tutorials both in Thesis forum and from the internet to juggle its look to be out of default look.

In overall, after all troubles I’ve through, I am satisfied with Thesis, this is a amazing theme.

Please keep in my mind: you won’t find the same difficulties if staying with the default look of Thesis like this:

And Thesis also gives shortcut to:

• Change font type & its size for Header, Title, Post, Sidebar…etc & change their colors without opening CSS code page
• Show edit button for comments/posts if you want to edit them at any time without openning your Theme Editor
• Switching from 3 column to 2 colomn
• Make the homepage to be a Magazine look instantly with Teaser feature
• And other features to improve our blogging productivity, all can be found both in Thesis Options & Design Options.

After 3 days of having intimate interaction with Thesis, I came out with the conclusion: Thesis gives all of the heavy lifting behind the scenes for SEO or Search Engine Optimization and obviously NOT for redesigning our theme to have the wished look.

Why SEO? Because it covers almost all the required aspects to get the SEO optimized theme by default. For example, I am able to reduce the usage of SEO plugins & don’t need to edit my Theme to get cleaner codes.

Because in Thesis theme I will have the options to:

• Set Homepage Meta Description and keywords
• Rewrite Title, Meta Description & Meta keyword for each post
• NoIndex option to a specific page or post.
• NoIndex option to Category.
• NoIndex option to Tag Links.
• NoIndex option to Archive.
• Canonical URL option to avoids duplicate content

Familiar with the above features? Yes they are deadly features of All In One SEO Pack plugin! Thus, in Thesis I don’t need that great plugin albeit it doesn’t generate META tags automatically like AIOS, I can deal with that.

• Clean code.
• Proper H tag usages

By default, Thesis has given a complete package of internal SEO aspects for every SEO theme should has, but to be frank you don’t need Thesis at all, as you can do it yourself SEO to your theme.

But if you want to have a great SEO theme instantly without the need of plugins or coding a theme to get a proper code structure and valid, having great support to back you up and you’re willing to spend time to understand the hook (in case you want to remove or add something to make your Thesis stands out from the crowd), or just fall in love with the default Thesis theme look.

Then I suggest you to try your hand on Thesis, it’s one of the best option for premium themes, no doubts about it .

To conclude this post I’d like to say: The coders of Thesis did give a great deal of times and use their expertise to present to us a great SEO optimized theme.

Finally I relaunch this blog again after I decided to abandon it on March 2009. I published this blog for the first time at Oct, 2008, it is a year old now. But at the middle of February, 2009 I found myself were too busy running my other blogs that more financially promising.

Consequently I had to accept the fact that I must choose whether to continue running this blog while at the same time give a lot attentions to other blogs, or temporary abandon this blog, I chose the second option. .

Now I have enough spare times in my hand, thus I decided to make this blog alive for a second time, to start all over again, firstly I’ve deleted the entire posts in the archive as I want to have a fresh impression & changed the old theme with Thesis.

It was hook who redesigned this theme…lol

I have a good expectation on this blog and so excited to run Make Money Online Blog. MMO, an activity I do as blogger to earn extra revenue, is that so why not seriously running a blog with the name.

But it doesn’t mean I will share tips to make money online in this blog, as I am not an expert on that field but I will share my experiences on what I am trying and doing to make money online!

Thus, this blog will be more like sharing experience than sharing tips. Because in experiences we will learn something.

From those experiences, I hope I could help people who visit this blog to make money online or they can give me advices and useful feedback to help me doing better to try make money.

That’s the main purpose I set when purchasing the domain name, Try To Make Money Online.

I will post about all the programs I ever participated to make money online, but due to personal reason I decided to discontinue to participating in some of them, but only some not all of them.

When I said the all programs I meant it! Therefore you’ll find the program that I started on 2006 till today.

So there will be some outdated programs and current ones adorn this Try To Make Money Online blog, if you hate the outdated stuffs just skip them all ).

Frankly I do feel regret to have wasted the chances that I would possible had if optimizing this blog during a 7 months of inactivity, however I realize no need to feel regret it’s my decision anyway, it’s time to do the homework.
